About this policy

Prime Affliction operates the website at primeaffliction.com (the “website”). This policy explains what information may be handled when you visit the website and how it is used. It should be read alongside our Terms of Use.

The website is currently a static site. We do not operate visitor accounts, and the recruitment form currently runs only in your browser: it checks the form, displays a confirmation, and resets the fields. It does not currently send the form entries to Prime Affliction or save them through this website.

Information you choose to provide

If you email us, we receive the email address and any information you include, such as your name, gaming handle, Discord ID, or message. We use it to respond and handle your request. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information that is not needed for your inquiry.

The roster may display member usernames and profile details provided for publication by team members. Those details are shown so visitors can learn about the team.

Log and connection data

When a browser requests a webpage or one of its resources, the website’s hosting provider and the providers that deliver those resources may receive technical connection data. Depending on the provider, this may include an IP address, browser and device information, requested URLs, timestamps, and error or security logs. These records are handled by those providers under their own practices and are generally used to deliver, secure, and troubleshoot their services.

The website’s current code does not include visitor analytics or advertising trackers. Its pages load resources from third parties, including Tailwind CSS, Google Fonts, and cdnjs (Font Awesome and Three.js). Those providers may receive connection data when your browser retrieves their resources. Please review their privacy information for details about their processing.

Cookies and local storage

The website’s current code does not intentionally set cookies or use browser local storage to track visitors. Hosting, CDN, or other third-party services may use cookies or similar technologies for their own delivery, security, or operational purposes. You can manage cookies through your browser settings; blocking them may affect third-party services.

Sharing and retention

We do not sell personal information. Information may be handled by service providers that host the site or deliver its resources, or disclosed when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect people, the website, or our rights. If you contact us, we keep the correspondence only as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain relevant records, or meet legal obligations. Service providers may keep their own technical logs under their retention policies.

Security and third-party websites

We take reasonable steps to protect information we handle, but no internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure. The website may link to third-party services, including community platforms. Those services are not operated by Prime Affliction; their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them.

Children’s privacy

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information by email, contact us so we can review and address the request.

Your choices and policy updates

You may choose not to provide information by email. Depending on where you live, you may have legal rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information. Contact us to submit a request, and we will respond as required by applicable law.

We may update this policy as the website or our practices change. The updated version will be posted here with a revised “Last updated” date.
